Formed in 1999, BRAND NEW IDOL was the brainchild of brothers Kris and Tim Heireth, founding members of the acclaimed synthpop band Joy Machine. Drawing from a wide array of influences, their sound is best described as a smart and witty blend of melodic synthpop and darkwave grind with a quirky dance floor sensibility all it’s own.
