We lost our dear friend and brother V. Nigel Taylor.

Our two bands were a tight knit family, sharing countless stages and adventures together. From 2005 through 2012 Nigel joined us as our live bassist. When he joined, we decided to include one of our favorite Platform One songs in our live set, and we gave it a proper BNI spin.

In the winter of 2007, we recorded Nigel's vocals with the intention of including our version of Truth on the next album, but that album was never released and the recording sat in the archives until now.

Fans of Platform One may be familiar with the BNI version as the unofficial "Sunday Show" mix played live at conventions.

We couldn't think of a more fitting tribute to a man who loved music and performing so deeply, than to give his family, friends and fans this one last encore.

All proceeds from this release will go directly to Nigel's family to help cover his final expenses.

It's uncanny just how good Actors is at emulating that Post-Punk synth sound from my younger days. Each listen just gets better and better. I feel slightly ashamed for not having heard this album until a few short days ago. modestwriggles
